Is the House Of Night Series appropriate for a 12 year old?

I have a 12 year old daughter she is almost 13 and is a exceptional
reader. She has been reading YA books since she was maybe 9 or 10. As
you can imagine many YA books she wants to read might be to mature so
I like to know what she is reading. She has read the Twilight Saga and
wants to read The House of Night Series. If Someone could please tell
me exactly what is in the book that would be great. She is very mature
for her age. Thanks!
